One year has passed from the launching conference of the project WISE – While Innovating and Strengthening Europe, in Rome. Since then, the 16 project partners have implemented their local processes on the field, involving citizens’ groups – especially disadvantaged people, young citizens and minorities – in the reflection on the European Union past, present and future.

#1 – EU LEARN: How could you think about something that you don’t know? That’s why all the partners focused the first activity on raising awareness about the history and the functioning of the European Union, using participatory and non-formal tools
#2 – EU REFLECT: Nothing is perfect, but all together we can always improve the situation! Once the participants have learned more about the European Union they have started the reflection on the challenges and the next steps of this big amazing project that the EU is. World cafés, open discussions, surveys and role plays are only few of the participatory tools that have been used.
#3 – EU ACT: Don’t lose time complaining! Playing an active role in finding solutions is way more interesting! All the citizens involved in the project implementation have been working on producing outputs and innovative way to foster EU understanding and to improve citizens’ participations all over enlarged Europe. Games, theatre plays, recommendations, campaigns, manifestos, quiz and much more!

On 14th March the REDE LDBC Lisboa, the Portuguese partner of the WISE Project, hosted its final international conference, where MEP candidates, representatives of the EU Institutions as well as representatives of local authorities, civil society organizations and citizens discussed about the challenges identified during the implementation of the local processes: European citizenship meaning, Erasmus as a fundamental experience, the unknown daily impact of the EU in our life, the "drain brain" issue and obviously the upcoming European Elections. 2019 is the last year of the project and the project partners are now working on the production of the final E-publication that will collect and present all the participatory tools used and elaborated during the implementation of the project. Une année s'est écoulée depuis la conférence de lancement du projet WISE – While Innovating and Strengthening Europe(En innovant et renforçant l'Europe) – qui s’est tenue à Rome. Depuis lors, les 16 partenaires du projet ont mis en œuvre leurs actions locaux, en impliquant des groupes de citoyens – en particulier des personnes défavorisées, des jeunes citoyens et des minorités - dans la réflexion sur le passé, le présent et l’avenir de l’Union européenne.

# 1 - EU LEARN: Comment pouvez-vous penser à quelque chose que vous ne connaissez pas? C’est pour cette raison que tous les partenaires ont axé la première activité sur la sensibilisation à l’histoire et au fonctionnement de l’Union Européenne, en utilisant des outils participatifs et non formels.
# 2 - EU REFLECT : Rien n'est parfait, mais ensemble nous pouvons toujours améliorer la situation ! Une fois que les participants ont appris davantage sur l'Union Européenne, ils ont entamé une réflexion sur les défis et les prochaines étapes du projet incroyable qu’est l'UE. Les World cafés, les discussions ouvertes, les enquêtes et les jeux de rôle ne sont que quelques exemples des outils participatifs utilisés.
# 3 - ACTE UE : Ne perdez pas de temps à vous plaindre ! Jouer un rôle actif dans la recherche de solutions est bien plus intéressant ! Tous les citoyens impliqués dans la mise en œuvre du projet ont travaillé à la production de résultats et de moyens innovants pour favoriser la compréhension de l’UE et améliorer la participation des citoyens dans l’ensemble de l’Europe élargie. Jeux, pièces de théâtre, recommandations, campagnes, manifestes, quiz et bien plus encore !

Le 14 mars, REDE LDBC Lisboa, le partenaire portugais du projet WISE, a organisé sa conférence internationale finale au cours de laquelle les candidats à MPE, ainsi que les représentants des institutions européennes, représentants des autorités locales, organisations de la société civile et citoyens ont discuté sur les défis identifiés pendant la mise en œuvre des processus locaux comme: le sens de la citoyenneté européenne, l’Erasmus en tant qu'expérience fondamentale, l'inconnu impact quotidien de l'UE dans notre vie, la question du «brain drain» et, bien entendu, les prochaines élections européennes. 2019 est la dernière année du projet et les partenaires du projet travaillent actuellement à la production de la publication électronique finale qui rassemblera et présentera tous les outils participatifs utilisés et élaborés au cours de la mise en œuvre du projet. Da quel momento, i 16 partner coinvolti hanno messo in pratica i processi locali, attraverso la partecipazione attiva dei cittadini, sopratutto di soggetti appartenenti a contesti vulnerabili, giovani e minoranze – in una riflessione sul passato, il presente e il futuro dell’Unione Europea.

Su cosa e come hanno lavorato gli scorsi anni i partner? Per scoprirlo, dai un’occhiata al video del progetto!
Il percorso di realizzazione del progetto internazionale ha seguito la stessa linea a livello locale, in tutti e sedici i paesi coinvolti: 16 paesi, 25 partecipanti per evento, 3 eventi per paese:
#1 – CONOSCERE L’UE (EU LEARN): Come potresti pensare a qualcosa che non conosci? Questo il motivo per cui tutti i partner hanno incentrato la prima attività sulla presa di coscienza della storia e del funzionamento dell’Unione Europea, attraverso canali partecipativi e non formali.
#2 – RIFLETTERE SULL’UE (EU REFLECT): Nessuno è perfetto ma tutti quanti insieme possiamo migliorare! Una volta appreso quanto di fondamentale sull’Unione, i partecipanti hanno riflettuto sulle nuove sfide e sui prossimi passi di questo meraviglioso disegno che è l’Unione Europea. Cafè internazionali, discussioni aperte, sondaggi e giochi di ruolo sono solo alcuni dei canali di partecipazione che sono stati usati.
#3 – AGIRE PER L’UE (EU ACT): Non perdere tempo a lamentarti! Sii anche tu attivo nella risoluzione dei problemi in maniera più creativa! Tutti i cittadini coinvolti nella realizzazione del progetto sono stati impegnati nella produzione di metodi innovativi per migliorare la compresione dell’Unione Europea ed incoraggiare la partecipazione cittadina in tutta l’Europa allargata. Giochi, rappresentazioni teatrali, consigli, campagne, manifesti, quiz e ancora altro!

Il 14 marzo il partner portoghese del progetto, REDE LDBC Lisboa, ha ospitato la conferenza finale, a cui hanno partecipato eurodeputati, rappresentanti di istituzioni europee, così come di autorità locali, di organizzazioni della società civile e singoli cittadini, discutendo sulle sfide individuate a livello locale, durante la realizzazione delle diverse fasi del progetto: il significato di cittadinanza europea, l’Erasmus come esperienza fondamentale, l’impatto - in superficie invisibile - che ha quotidianamente sulle nostre vite l’Unione Europea, la “fuga dei cervelli” e ovviamente le prossime elezioni europee di maggio.
Il 2019 è l’anno conclusivo del progetto e i partner stanno ora lavorando sulla pubblicazione finale, che presenterà tutti i canali partecipativi usati ed elabotati durante il period di implementazione del progetto. Per maggiori informazioni, visita la pagina web di progetto sul nostro sito!
