Nikola Benin participated in the EUSDR MA/programming authorities network meeting: Building a Sustainable Future in the Danube Region

The EUSDR stakeholder meeting on 12 November 2024 brought together leaders and experts across the Danube Region to discuss embedding sustainability and resilience into programmes. Organised by the Austrian EUSDR Presidency and the Danube Strategy Point, the event introduced the new 2024 Guidance Paper, "Active Embedding & Planning Ahead, " providing a strategic framework to align regional funding and initiatives with EUSDR priorities.

Participants focused on the role of Interreg (A, B) programmes in supporting this mission and shared valuable insights, best practices, and collaborative ideas to tackle shared challenges—from climate action to economic growth. This knowledge exchange marked an important step toward creating a more connected and resilient Danube Region.

With a stronger network and clear priorities, the Danube Region is set to make a lasting impact. Here’s to a sustainable future for all!
