Topic: Ubiquitous Learning and Instructional
Technologies. Learning these days doesn't just happen in
classrooms, it happens outside of classrooms and a lot of what our students
bring into classrooms, they've learned from elsewhere. Thus, it is a new
challenge for the education of the future to work out the way how to make an
effective connection between classrooms and schooling and this large
environment where learning is happening. The role of a teacher is swapping
from the centralized one as the only authority in the classroom to a
supporter who scaffolds the process of learning. The aim of the workshops is to equip the educators
with the practical tools to enhance
the classroom discourse and students` engagement in the process of knowledge
production. The objectives
of workshops: ·
Introduction and practice on SCHOLAR – the
application for classroom discourse meant only for the scientific purposes ·
Introduction and practice of Instructional
Technologies – applications and programs enhancing the collaboration between
students. ·
Analyze the range of possible applications of
technology to assessment. ·
Introduction and practice of project management
applications and programs. ·
Examples of deductive methodology ( e.g case
studies, interactive story telling) ·
Flipped classroom methodology |
