Please check out from your Kathmandu hotel in the morning as we will leave to Pokhara directly after two hours Kathmandu tour (see below). We will leave for Pokhara straight after Kathmandu tour.

10:30 – 12:30	Sight Seeing in Kathmandu, and then the coach will leave to Pokhara directly - please take the right coach.
12:30 – 18:00	Pokharatravel straight after Kathmandu tour with lunch on the way to Pokhara around 3pm (please note late lunch!)
19:30 – 21:00	Dinner in Pokhara

Morning session – Project Overview and Project Delegation Briefing
08:30 – 12:00 ·         Welcome speech by the host institution ·         Presentation of project coordinator ·         Coffee break ·         Presentation of each partner representative on their progress with the project activities; problems faced; lessons learnt and future actions. Q&A and discussion.
12:00 – 12:30	Lunch Break – networking and discussion
13:00 – 16:00	Cultural and tourist visit around Pokhara Valley
Afternoon session – Project Management and Activities Review  (Project meeting)
16:00 – 19:00 ·         Review of the project activities - advertisement, online application and selection of the candidate, admission process and schedule of mobility. ·         Review of first year annual report and responses from the EACEA. ·         Discussion the mobility progress, pending issues, mobility targets for next cohorts, experiences and lessons learned from the execution of previous mobility. ·         Coffee break ·         Plan for the second and third cohorts ·         Discussion on success stories from this or other projects ·         Any other business
19:00 – 22:00	Dinner in Pokhara

Optional adventurous activities 19^th and 20^th December (cost applies)

Those who need to to go back to Kathmandu on 18^th or 19^th Dec. Please contact KEC to make arrangement, if you have not already done so.

19th Dec 08:30 – 10:30	Pokhara tour, and then coach will leave directly to Chitawan
19th Afternoon 10:30 – 15:00	Travel to Chitawan National Park, check in a hotel in Chitawan. Dinner in Chitawan hotel.
19th Afternoon 15:00 – 20:00	Lunch in Chitwan, Elephant riding in the National park to see rhinos and other wild-lives cultural programme and dinner
20th Morning 08:30 – 12:00	Boating watching crocodile in the morning, lunch and return back to Kathmandu.
20th Afternoon	Returning back to Kathmandu (it takes 4 hours from Chitwan)

Notes:

1.    Please book your flight to Kathmandu (Tribhuvan) International Airport.Also check travel information in the SKIMA website, http://kec.edu.np/skima2015/.

2.    The normal project activities on 17^th and 18^th December will be covered by the project (except the entrance fees of some touristic places – they are very reasonable).If you need to go back to Kathmandu from Pokharadue to your flight, you can take a flight or vehicle but make sure you have enough time before your flight (Let KEC know your flight details and they will arrange the travel – cost applies).

3.    Adventurous/touristic activities on 19^th and 20^th December are NOT covered by the project (they are reasonable). KEC will arrange this and let you know. If you need to go back to Kathmandu due to your flight, you can take a flight/coach/vahiclefrom Chitawanbut make sure you have enough time before your flight ((Let KEC know your flight details and they will arrange the travel – cost applies).

4.    Visa information can be found at:http://www.nepalimmigration.gov.np/article/44/visa-info.html. Tourist Visiting Nepal is eligible for The Tourist Visa on Arrival at the Kathmandu (Tribhuvan) International Airport(except for Tourists holding the passport of Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine). So, most of you can get visa when you arrive in the Kathmandu airport. Visa costs $25 (can be paid in Euro and pounds). You also need a passport size photo (the photo can be taken in the airport, but it is easier if you have one).
