Алън  Рикман си отиде от този свят на 69 години

  Алън Сидни Патрик Рикман (Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman) е роден на 21 февруари 1946 г. в Лондон. В училище се увлича по акварелно рисуване и се занимава с драма. След това той посещава Колежа за изкуство и дизайн към Университета за изящни изкуства в Лондон, а по-късно следва в Кралския колеж за изкуство. След завършването му, заедно с приятели, създава студио за графичен дизайн, наречено „Графити“. От 1972 до 1974 година учи актьорско майсторство в Кралската академия за драматично изкуство. Рикман участва в множество кинопродукции, телевизионни продукции и в театрални постановки. През 1987 година за пръв път е номиниран за ролята си в пиесата „Опасни връзки“ (Les Liaisons Dangereuses) с наградата Тони, като повторно е номиниран с нея през 2002 година за ролята си в пиесата Private Lives. Получава и Награда „Златен Глобус“ за най-добър актьор в главна роля в телевизионен филм за Распутин (1996). Култови роли на актьора са злодея Ханс Грубър в „Умирай трудно“ от 1988 и Професор Сивиръс Снейп в  поредицата от седем филми „Хари Потър”.

Rickman starred alongside Donald Pleasance, Nigel Hawthorne and Geraldine McEwan in the BBC TV serial The Barchester Chronicles.

In 1998, Rickman starred alongside Helen Mirren in Anthony and Cleopatra on stage, and the pair reunite in this year’s tense thriller Eye in the Sky
